Location: Reading

Salary: GBP45,000 - GBP50,000

A well-established and award-winning architectural practice renowned for delivering exceptional luxury residential projects is seeking a Project Architect to join its expanding Reading team. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the successful delivery of bespoke residential projects throughout all RIBA work stages
  • Coordinate consultants, contractors, clients, and internal teams to ensure projects progress efficiently
  • Prepare and develop high-quality design solutions, technical drawings, specifications, and construction documentation
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, resources, and quality objectives from inception to completion
  • Manage consultant collaboration and address technical or design-related challenges as projects evolve
  • Foster and maintain strong working relationships with clients and project stakeholders
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members where required
  • Encourage sustainable design approaches and contribute to environmentally conscious project outcomes

Skills And Experience

  • ARB-registered Architect with a strong track record of delivering projects within the UK
  • Proven experience working on luxury private residential developments across a range of RIBA stages
  • Excellent technical expertise with the ability to manage and coordinate complex residential projects
  • Confident liaising with clients, consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience with Vectorworks would be advantageous
  • Knowledge of sustainable design methodologies, with Passivhaus experience or accreditation viewed favourably
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to balance design aspirations, programme requirements, and budget considerations
