£50,000 - £57,000 | Permanent | London, Waterloo | Revit, ArchiCAD | WFH Fridays
This is an opportunity to join a well-established London architecture practice with a strong reputation for delivering thoughtful, design-led projects across workplace, commercial, heritage and mixed-use sectors.
The studio has a niche delivering complex retrofit and refurbishment schemes, breathing new life into existing buildings while balancing commercial objectives, sustainability targets and architectural quality. Projects are varied, often technically challenging, and span multiple sectors, giving their tight-knit team broad exposure and genuine ownership.
They're looking for a Project Architect who enjoys running projects, leading consultant teams and taking responsibility from early concept stages through to delivery. You'll be trusted with client relationships, project leadership and day-to-day design management, while working closely with senior leadership on some of Central London's most interesting retrofit opportunities.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
