We own and manage our entire supply chain, from farms to factory and all the way to the customer door – meaning we have careers that cover a whole range of functions. We have major processing sites across England and an agricultural network of over 350 farms, spanning from North Yorkshire to the South Coast and Wales.
About The Role

As an inclusive, forward-thinking business, we take pride in our approach to investing in growth across Avara Foods and are looking for a highly competent and motivated Project Co-Ordinator to join our Engineering team, based at our Brackley site.
The role is office based with some factory based requirements to monitor, co-ordinate and report on ongoing projects. As Project Co-Ordinator you’ll be working core hours of Monday – Friday 08:00 – 17:00.
Due to project timelines some flexibility around working hours may be required.

As a Project Co-Ordinator you’ll play a key role in the Engineering projects team, providing effective ordering, budget control, documentation and planning support for business projects.
What will your key responsibilities as Project Co-Ordinator include?
- Tracking project budgets and forecasts against actual spend.
- Raising and receipting project orders.
- Assisting Project Managers in project planning and tracking alongside maintaining Gantt charts and communications with stakeholders.
- Attending project meetings, providing administrative support including collating and distributing actions.
- Gathering data for scoping and planning of projects and capital submissions.
- Assisting the project team in the control and management of contractors.
- Keeping track of project tasks and their potential impact on safety, food safety, environmental, production and other projects.
What you’ll need to be successful:
- Exceptional attention to detail with numbers and planning.
- A technical mind with an interest in equipment and engineering.
- Good interpersonal communication skills with colleagues of all levels.
- Competency with IT software.
- The ability to self motivate and prioritise workloads.
- Experience with CAD or engineering drawings would be beneficial.
