Band 6 Project Coordinator
We are recruiting for a Band 6 Project Coordinator to support delivery of the NHS Secure Boundary service within Cyber Operations. Secure Boundary is a national cyber service that helps protect NHS systems and patient data, operating at scale across a multi-supplier delivery model.
The post holder will provide practical project and programme coordination, helping the team to plan, track and manage activity across a complex live service. This will include supporting governance, maintaining accurate project records, coordinating meetings and actions, tracking risks and issues, and helping ensure delivery remains organised and controlled.
A key part of the role will be supporting the Secure Boundary value add catalogue, which enables NHS organisations to adopt the core service at no cost while purchasing additional capabilities where needed. The catalogue is important to service uptake and value for money, helping reduce the risk of organisations buying separate local solutions. The role will support demand tracking, stakeholder engagement, supplier coordination and financial processes so that the programme can deliver its objectives in line with the approved business case.
Responsibilities
As a Project Coordinator the post holder will support the effective planning, coordination and delivery of programme objectives. They will maintain project plans, trackers and reporting arrangements, supporting the team to manage milestones, dependencies, risks, issues and actions across onboarding, transition and delivery.

The role will act as a key point of coordination for the Secure Boundary value add catalogue, supporting engagement, demand tracking and critically finance business processes. This will include organising meetings and workshops, updates, taking minutes, following up actions and ensuring information is captured accurately.
The post holder will support business and financial management activity linked to catalogue delivery, including tracking demand, spend, approvals, purchase orders and invoice progress where required. They will work closely with programme, finance, infrastructure delivery and supplier teams to ensure expenditure is properly justified, authorised, monitored and aligned to value for money objectives.
They will communicate with internal and external stakeholders, support the preparation of briefings for the programme in relation to organisational requirements. As well as maintain accurate project records and help identify delivery challenges early. The role will be critical in protecting programme control, supporting service uptake and helping Secure Boundary deliver its intended benefits for NHS organisations and the wider system.
