The Role
We are seeking a Project Consultant to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive project success. In this role, you will manage and maintain strong relationships with customers, provide product training tailored to customer needs, and collaborate with Project Managers on larger, high-impact projects. In this role, you'll take the lead in resolving project and implementation challenges, adhering to established escalation procedures to ensure smooth outcomes. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, enjoys problem-solving, and values collaboration across diverse teams.
Role Specifics
- Work Location: Remote (UK)
- Travel: 40% (The percentage of travel is an estimation and could vary based on business needs.)
- Reporting Structure: This role reports to Senior Manager, Professional Services.

What You Will Own
- Delivering product training to customers
- Assist customers in an Outsourced Resource role, helping with day to day operations
- Assist StarRez Project Managers or Senior Consultants on larger projects
- Provide resolution to project, implementation, or customer issues, following proper escalation procedures based on internal practices
- Create project documentation and procedures
- Testing of products, tools, or components
- Create/update documentation for customers and internal purposes
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience contributing to customer implementations or projects in a SaaS or higher education context (e.g. Student Information Systems like Oracle, PeopleSoft, SAP, Banner, etc.)
- Proven ability to build trusted partner relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including experience presenting to senior audiences
- Excellent problem-solving, issue management, and analytical skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation and follow-through skills
- Technologically curious, with the ability to quickly learn new tools and systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Higher Education Administration or Business-related discipline
- Knowledge of StarRez software
- Willingness to adopt and advocate for AI tooling to support daily tasks
