Project Controller – International EPC/Renewables – Hybrid/Remote/Flexible!

Earthstream Global are looking for an experienced Project Controller to join an exciting international business that delivers large-scale energy projects across the UK.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong financial analysis skills, experience in project environments, and a passion for improving systems and processes.

You will be working closely with Project Managers and senior leadership, and provide financial insight that supports informed decision-making while helping to drive improvements across business systems and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support project and business unit controlling through budget monitoring, variance analysis, and KPI reporting.
  • Prepare monthly forecasts and deliver ad hoc financial analysis to support management decisions.
  • Coordinate and support forecast review meetings with key stakeholders.
  • Act as a key user for ERP and Business Intelligence systems, providing user support, troubleshooting, training, and contributing to system enhancements.
  • Collaborate on internal improvement projects across Finance, ERP, IT, and operational functions.

  • Several years' experience in project controlling, finance, or management accounting.
  • Experience working within a project-based or engineering, construction, manufacturing, or infrastructure environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and present meaningful insights.
  • Experience using ERP systems and reporting/BI tools.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
