Role Overview
Delivering a range of PMO and Project Controls services to support the delivery of a nationally significant infrastructure project in Immingham. The role will mostly be remotely based, however, there is a requirement to be on site at least twice a month. The ideal candidate will have experience working on large scale infrastructure, marine, ports, transport or heavy civil projects. Experience with project reporting from a cost, control, scheduling and or risk perspective is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Delivering a range of PMO and Project Controls performance on assigned commission(s) with support and mentorship from senior PMO, Project Controls or Project/Programme Management team.
- Guiding the effective implementation of PMO and Project Controls framework/strategy on assigned commissions.
- Partnering with internal/external stakeholders to build strong professional relationships with client/client representatives.
- Delivering monthly reports and guiding the facilitation and delivery of performance reporting and reviews.
- Identifying development opportunities in areas of PMO and Project controls methodologies such as EVM.
- Driving integration of some of the PMO and Planning disciplines (such as Risk Management and Planning).
- Developing alignment of some PMO and Project Controls activity to the Mace control centre, client requirements and other legislation.
- Working collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.

Requirements
- Basic understanding of construction/delivery lifecycle and/or consultancy.
- Knowledge of areas of PMO and Project Controls service delivery in one or more sectors (e.g. rail, highways, nuclear, public sector, hospitals).
