About Your Role
As a Project Controls Engineer within the PMCM (Programme Solutions) group, you will play a key role in supporting global transport and infrastructure projects. You’ll collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure seamless project delivery—quality outputs, on-time completion, and budget adherence.
You’ll make a significant impact by supporting the planning and execution of major projects while working closely with clients and design teams. Your focus will be on keeping schedules, budgets, and resources aligned while ensuring effective project performance.
This role requires global collaboration, spanning across WSP offices, client offices, and project sites. While flexible working is supported (minimum 3 office days per week), we prioritise integration with colleagues and clients for strong delivery outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor project costs and budgets, providing regular analysis and reports to project managers.
- Develop and maintain project schedules using tools like Primavera P6, MS Project, and ASTA.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure clear communication, coordination, and alignment of activities.
- Facilitate performance reporting and reviews for project updates.
- Assist in implementing project controls processes and tools to enhance project efficiency.
- Prepare and present project status reports to clients and senior management.
- Apply Earned Value Management (EVM) methodologies effectively.
- Support risk management activities, by identifying risks, assessing impacts, and devising mitigation strategies.
- Conduct performance analyses and offer actionable recommendations for improvements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards.
- Develop Power BI and data analytics skills (desirable but not mandatory).
