Manchester | Hybrid (2–3 Days per Week)
£75,000–£90,000 + Car Allowance + Private Medical + Outstanding Benefits

We're partnering with a leading global consultancy to recruit an experienced Project Controls Manager to support the delivery of a major government infrastructure programme in Manchester.
This is an outstanding opportunity to work on a nationally significant project where you'll play a key role in driving programme performance, influencing senior stakeholders, and ensuring projects are delivered with robust governance, planning, and controls.

The Opportunity
You'll lead project controls across a major infrastructure programme, working alongside senior client stakeholders and programme leaders to deliver best-in-class planning, cost, risk, and performance management.
You'll be instrumental in improving project performance, providing strategic insight, and ensuring effective governance across the programme.

What You'll Be Doing
- Lead all aspects of Project Controls across a complex infrastructure programme.
- Drive excellence across planning, cost management, risk, reporting, scheduling, and governance.
- Produce insightful programme reporting, forecasting, Earned Value Analysis (EVA), and performance metrics.
- Embed robust project controls, change management, and assurance processes.
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and programme leadership.
- Mentor and support Project Controls professionals within the wider team.
- Champion continuous improvement and promote best practice across the programme.
What You'll Bring
- Proven experience as a Project Controls Manager or Senior Project Controls professional.
- Strong expertise across planning, cost, risk, reporting, and integrated project controls.
- Experience delivering major infrastructure, transport, utilities, engineering, energy, or other capital programmes.
- Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Power BI, and Excel.
- Familiarity with NEC contracts and project governance principles.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Consultancy experience is beneficial but not essential.
