I’m recruiting for a major site-based programme in South Wales and need proper project controls and planning people.
Not reporting-only.
Not dashboard theatre.
Not F9 operators.
This is for people who understand that planning and controls protect delivery, cost visibility, programme integrity and commercial position.
Roles Available
Project Controls Manager
Cost & Commercial bias
Circa £70,000–£80,000 p/a
Day rate considered around £600/day maybe £700
4 x Project Planners
£400–£500/day
1 x Lead Planner
£550–£650/day
Potential stretch towards £700/day for the right person

Contract Details
- 3-year contract
- Inside IR35
- South Wales
- Site-based initially
- Some hybrid possible once properly embedded into the project
The Right People Will Be Able To Evidence
- Live site planning or project controls experience
- P6 capability beyond basic updates
- Progress validation against actual site activity
- Sequencing logic and critical path ownership
- Cost, commercial, change or NEC awareness
- Confidence working with delivery, engineering, commercial and senior stakeholders
- Ability to challenge weak logic, poor progress data and unrealistic durations
