About the Role
Our PMO Northwest team is expanding its Controls and Performance Reporting Community and seeks passionate, ambitious professionals at all levels (Professional, Senior Professional, or Managerial) who align with our values, particularly Bringing out the Best in Everyone.
With exciting regional growth across new **Projects, Programmes & Clients—**including sectors like Power, Water, Rail, Defence, Nuclear, Local Authority, and Shipyards—we welcome adaptable and mobile candidates. You must be prepared for regional travel, subject to project requirements (further discussion during recruitment).
As a Performance & Reporting Specialist, your role will blend collaborative and independent work across project teams and the wider reporting/performance organisation, supported by experienced advisors. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Key Responsibilities
- Tailor Reporting Processes to meet client needs while aligning with industry best practices.
- Develop and execute performance reporting management plans tailored to project phases and maturity.
- Elevate awareness of Performance & Analytics with Stakeholders to highlight key benefits and objectives.
- Implement, administer, and sustain reporting systems (data tracking, procedures, and assurance).
- Collaborate with key stakeholders (e.g., Integrated Project Teams) to establish a robust Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB) and support change control processes.
- Establish calendars for consistent performance tracking and ensure timely data and analysis opportunities.
- Partner with Project Controls Teams to define system data requirements and assist digital teams in implementation.
- Lead development, analysis, and maintenance of corporate data systems, ensuring quality and integrity.
- Provide expert guidance to diverse stakeholders on data quality to optimise reporting outputs.
- Prepare materials for governance review at all project, programme, portfolio, and enterprise levels.
- Identify and recommend Performance Recovery Strategies to support data-driven decision-making.
- Foster the development of KPIs and a Performance Measures Dictionary, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Design project performance dashboards, then present insights clearly to Executive teams.
- Contribute to National/Regional Communities of Practice, sharing knowledge and best practices.
- Train and co-capacitate clients and colleagues in Performance Reporting and Management methodologies.

Qualifications & Experience
- Essential: Experience in programme, project, or controls environments (understanding of project controls domains—scheduling, cost, change, etc).
- Core Skills: Ability to define and document data requirements, preferably using tools and structured frameworks (e.g., data dictionaries, workflows).
- Proficient Knowledge: Strong awareness of relevant Project Controls Software (e.g., Primavera P6, Active Risk Manager, Ecosys) is highly desirable.
- Analytical Ability: Experience with Data Analysis Tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for presenting insights.
- Technical Proficiency: Understanding of data architecture, data quality, and system integration.
