Finlay Jude Associates are delighted to be supporting our client as they strengthen their Operations Support team with a Wastewater Project Coordinator, based in the Greater Manchester and Bristol areas, with remote working available.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing team within the UK Water Industry. You’ll play a crucial role in coordinating field teams, supporting operational delivery, and ensuring projects run safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. About the Team
You will join a specialist operations support team delivering services across the UK Water Industry, supporting:
- Water Networks
- Drainage
- Surveying
- Leakage
- Water Resources
- Efficiency
Wastewater Operations teams work in 3-person survey crews, gathering data from a wide range of wastewater assets, including:
- Networks
- Reserves
- Treatment plants
- Highways drainage
- And more

Key Responsibilities of the Wastewater Project Coordinator
Coordination & Support
- Coordinate field staff, project activities, resources, and equipment
- Provide technical support to wastewater field teams
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure all Health & Safety standards and processes are adhered to
- Prepare and issue Risk Assessments & Method Statements (RAMS) for each project
Logistics & Leadership
- Plan weekly whereabouts and deployment of field-based personnel
- Deliver and record toolbox talks and team briefings
- Conduct site-based workplace inspections
Safety & Operational Oversight
- Ensure all operatives are safe, supported, and well-equipped
- Monitor project progress, identifying risks, delays, or opportunities
Administrative & Reporting
- Maintain accurate documentation and project records
- Support the Project Manager with operational tasks and QA checks
Skills, Knowledge & Experience Required
Essential
- Proven experience in wastewater operations (e.g. CCTV, Asset Surveys, Flow Monitoring)
- Strong IT skills, particularly with MS Office
- Confident communication skills – both written and verbal
- Highly organised, efficient, and able to problem-solve quickly
- Professional, approachable, capable of working with colleagues across all levels
- Able to work independently, using initiative

- Flexible, reliable, and willing to work weekends, evenings, and travel as required
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
Qualifications
- Full UK Driving Licence is essential
