Project Coordinator

Project Coordinator – Utilities Sector (Irlam Location)

About the Role

FJA are recruiting on behalf of a leading service provider in the utilities industry for an experienced Project Coordinator to reinforce their growing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate personnel, projects, clients, on-site resources and equipment
  • Provide technical support to field-based teams
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company procedures
  • Issue appropriate Risk Assessments Method Statements (RAMS) for field teams
  • Plan and manage weekly deployment schedules for field staff
  • Support toolbox talks, team briefings, and site-based workplace inspections
  • Ensure field staff have the equipment and support needed for safe working
  • Coordinate project activities, resources, and information to meet programme requirements
  • Identify project risks and opportunities
  • Track and report on project progress
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and records
  • Support Quality Assurance (QA) checks and assurance activities
  • Prepare and review RAMS documentation
  • Carry out additional tasks as directed by the Project Manager

Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Previous experience in a wastewater-related role, including CCTV surveying, asset inspection, or flow monitoring
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
  • Highly organised with strong problem-solving skills
  • Must be flexible, dependable, and capable of working under tight deadlines
  • Professional, approachable, and confident when communicating at all levels
  • Willingness to work independently with initiative
