About the Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Coordinator to join the Programme Delivery team at Yorkshire Water and be a part of helping Yorkshire Water to provide the best service to our customers. Could this be you?

What We Do:

Everyone has an idea of what a water company does. Here in Yorkshire, we make sure that over 5.4 million people living in the region and the millions of people who visit our region each year, can rely on our services, and have clean and safe drinking water on tap and that their wastewater is taken away. But for us, it’s so much more than this.

  • We look after communities, protect the environment, and plan to look after Yorkshire’s water, today, tomorrow 24/7, 365 days a year.
  • We provide essential water and wastewater services to every corner of the Yorkshire region, and play a key role in the region’s health, wellbeing, and prosperity.

New environmental legislation, unprecedented levels of investment and changing expectations from customers means that this is an exciting time to discover opportunities within the water industry. Programme Delivery are a key part of how we plan to meet the changing expectations of customers and regulators.

Provide comprehensive administrative support to the project delivery team, ensuring effective coordination and governance across the full project lifecycle from funding authorisation through to asset settlement and project closure. This includes supporting project managers with governance and GMS approvals, preparing agendas, taking minutes, maintaining action, risk and issue logs, and assisting with project communications and stakeholder engagement. The role is responsible for collating and distributing asset handover information to support timely financial closure, highlighting discrepancies and upcoming milestones identified through PMO reporting, and providing logistical support such as arranging meetings and booking facilities. In addition, the role provides project administration support for activities including payments, purchase orders, project completions and asset commissioning, while maintaining an understanding of contract management processes, including DocuSign. The postholder will build effective relationships with internal stakeholders and contract partners, demonstrate strong IT and systems skills across platforms such as SAP, Ariba and Guided Buying, and maintain high standards of health, safety and compliance. They will consistently demonstrate Yorkshire Water’s behaviours, take ownership of their personal development through continuous learning and performance activities, and actively share knowledge and expertise to contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and organisational learning.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
