Purpose of the Role

To prepare and submit lift layout drawings to customer. To obtain drawing approval from customers and ensure that lifts are approved for manufacture in line with key dates.

Main Responsibilities

  • Using AutoCAD and/or PDF writer to prepare lift arrangement drawings for customers’ approval.
  • Respond to technical queries regarding approval drawings, seeking specialised assistance from others if necessary.
  • Revise drawings to suit any changes indicated during approval process or when approved for manufacture.
  • Update CRM with contract progression information and dates.
  • Approve Cibes lift products for manufacture on Electronic Ordering System (EOS).
  • Approve other lift products for manufacture via email to supplier.
  • Update Excel databases with contract information and progression.
  • Update library of Typical Drawings for use by Sales.
  • Liaise with customers during approval process to ensure key dates are met, e.g. latest drawings approval date to meet required installation date.
  • Liaise with installation department during approval process regarding installation date.
  • Additional/different responsibilities in line with the position on occasion.

  • Knowledge of project management best practices.
