Project Coordinator – Land, Environmental & Geospatial Support
About the Role
At Dalcour Maclaren, we’re leading the Utilities and Infrastructure industry, driving the UK and Ireland towards Net Zero through our expert services in land access, planning, environmental assessments, and geospatial mapping. Our mission is to unlock critical project consents for clients, steering us towards our vision of being the professional services team of choice, focused on sustainable infrastructure delivery.
We’re seeking a dynamic Project Coordinator to supervise and support our team, ensuring smooth project execution in compliance with the highest standards.
Role Responsibilities
As the Project Coordinator, you will:

Lead and support a team managing Projects and Liaison activities—coordinating with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure:
- Projects are delivered on time, in budget, and to quality standards
- Criminal compliance and expected outcomes are met
- Strong internal and external communication

Provide administrative, analytical, and project management support, including:
- Data analysis, reporting, and document control (eminute-taking and preparing presentations)
- Managing team programmes and delivering agreed project outcomes

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to:
- Develop project briefs and methodologies
- Ensure accuracy through record-keeping, meeting notes, and file management
- Maintain compliance with legal, regulatory, contractual, and organisational policies

Assist with financial management, including:
- Invoicing and reporting to teams and leadership
- Budget monitoring and monthly financial reporting

Offer ad hoc support as required to business operations, groups, and company initiatives.
Requirements & Competencies
The ideal Project Coordinator will possess:
- Exceptional communication skills—maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- High organisation and proactive approach—prioritising tasks and ensuring deadlines are met
- Strong IT proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Numeracy and financial acumen, with the ability to assist in budget tracking and reporting
- Clear attention to detail—ensuring quality control in documentation and updates
- Problem-solving mindset, with a collaborative team player attitude
- Want-to-learn attitude—open to professional development and continuous improvement.
