Your role

As part of the operations team supporting project planning, coordination and delivery of audiovisual projects within the company.

Working closely with project managers and the other members of the operations team you will be managing the technical equipment resources using the rental system to maximise utilisation of assets. It will include resourcing from external suppliers in the most cost-effective manner

Responsibilities

  • Understand the project requirements in terms of resources and support the accurate input of the project details into the rental management system to produce accurate quotations and documentation.
  • Coordinate with Projects team on equipment availability and provide alternative solutions when requested equipment is not available.
  • Collaborate with key suppliers to ensure sub-hired solutions are found while maintaining the quality and standards expected.
  • Coordinate delivery and collection schedules of dry hires with the transport team and prep schedules with the warehouse teams to ensure a timely service and smooth project delivery.
  • Respond to ad hoc customer enquiries promptly via phone and email, assisting customers with equipment selection based on their requirements and build strong client relationships to encourage repeat business.
  • Prepare customer quotations and processes rental orders accurately in a timely fashion using the rental Management system (Hire Track). Produce hire documentation, delivery notes, and related paperwork as required.
  • Provide updates on order status, delivery and collection when required.
  • Liaise with the warehouse team to ensure equipment is picked, prepared, tested, and ready for dispatch.

  • Experience in understanding financial budgets

  • Experience within the AV, events, production, or rental industry
  • Understanding of French, both written and spoken
  • Familiarity with rental management software such as Hire Track or similar
  • Basic understanding of professional audiovisual equipment
  • Knowledge of logistics or equipment scheduling
  • Experience with the leading professional audio brands on the market
