Role: Project Coordinator – ICP/Utilities

Salary: Up to £45,000 p/a - £250 p/d

Type: Full-time/Contract/Fixed-Term Role

Location: Hybrid – London office


This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised and proactive Project Coordinator, Project Administrator or PMO professional who understands the ICP environment and has experience supporting electrical connections, network adoption, infrastructure or utility delivery programmes.

Working closely with the Programme Manager, you will play a key role in coordinating activities across multiple sites, maintaining programme controls, tracking delivery milestones and ensuring accurate reporting throughout the lifecycle of the programme.

The Opportunity

As Project Coordinator, you will provide essential programme support across planning, reporting, governance and stakeholder coordination. You will help ensure projects remain on track by maintaining accurate information, monitoring progress, coordinating actions and supporting the wider delivery team.

This role would suit someone from an ICP, IDNO, DNO, utilities, connections or infrastructure background who enjoys working across multiple stakeholders and supporting successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain project trackers, schedules and delivery records, ensuring milestones, site status and progress information are accurate and up to date.
  • Coordinate activities across multiple sites, monitoring key deadlines and highlighting potential risks, delays or issues.
  • Produce regular programme reports, dashboards and updates to support delivery visibility.
  • Maintain RAID logs (risks, actions, issues and decisions), action trackers and programme documentation.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, capture minutes and track actions through to completion.
  • Coordinate communication between internal teams, ICPs, contractors, stakeholders and third parties.
  • Support tracking of site readiness, ICP activity, MOP appointments and delivery milestones.
  • Assist with issue escalation, recovery planning and programme mobilisation activities.
  • Maintain project records, evidence packs and document repositories, ensuring information is accurate, controlled and audit-ready.
  • Support quality checks and compliance with programme processes.

About You

You will ideally have experience working within a Project Coordinator, PMO, Project Administrator or Programme Support role, with exposure to the utilities or infrastructure sector.

Essential experience:

  • Experience supporting projects, programmes or delivery teams.
  • Understanding of the ICP/electrical connections environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience maintaining trackers, reports and project documentation.
  • Confident communicating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Systems Experience

You should be comfortable using:

  • Microsoft Excel
  • Microsoft Word & PowerPoint
  • Microsoft Teams & SharePoint
  • Project management, workflow or reporting systems
