About The Role

As a Project Coordinator for our autism and ADHD diagnostic assessment service, you will play a key role in supporting the end-to-end coordination of project activities—supporting the setup of new service pathways, monitoring the progress, and contributing to successful and timely completion.

Principle duties and responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Support the setup and mobilisation of new projects, including establishing workflows, documentation, and processes.
  • Coordinate and monitor project timelines and milestones, ensuring project tasks progress according to plan.
  • Oversee the administration of project activity and monitor patient caseloads via electronic record systems: from referral to discharge, ensuring patients movements align with project/task KPIs
  • Daily, weekly and monthly monitoring all stages of the patient journey.
  • Support with the completion of project audits in line with CQC standards, contractual obligations and internal processes.
  • Assist the quality team with investigations into complaints or incidents, identifying root causes, implementing corrective actions, and sharing findings with management team to support continuous improvement.
  • Attend regular contract review meetings with external stakeholders and present data reports (if applicable).
  • Act as a central point of contact for external stakeholders (commissioners, GPs, schools, etc.) ensuring clear, professional and responsive communication.

Person Specification

  • Previous experience of working in a similar role - ideally in an NHS or private health sector.
  • Previous experience of supporting projects from initiation to completion.
  • Awareness of structured project management methodologies e.g., PRINCE2, Agile (desirable).
  • Strong IT proficiency including Excel - the ability to collate, present and analyse/interpret data.
  • Thrives in fast paced dynamic environment and works flexibly to adapt and meet changing service demands.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and is confident building and maintaining professional working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Confidence in assisting with de-escalation, negative feedback and complaints.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, particularly in addressing and resolving operational challenges and bottlenecks.
  • Confidence to raise concerns with management.
  • Committed to providing the best quality service and achieving the highest standards of client care
  • High degree of professionalism, discretion, and integrity.

The role is based in the centre of Canterbury, Kent (Please note there is no onsite parking). The working week is Monday-Friday, hours are 09:00-17:00 (30 minute break) with hybrid working 3 days in office / 2 days WfH (37.5h contract).
