Job Description

Project Delivery Manager

Diversification & Partnership

Professional & Business Support

Grade 7 - £39,906 to £44,746 per annum (depending on experience)

The Role

This role offers the chance to shape two flagship government-funded programmes - Help to Grow: Management and Made Smarter - positioning the university at the forefront of SME leadership and digital transformation.

  • You'll lead complex projects, oversee high-value contracts, and drive operational excellence across delivery, compliance, marketing, and stakeholder engagement.
  • With scope to innovate systems, influence strategic decisions, and build impactful partnerships regionally and nationally, this is a rare opportunity to combine project leadership, service development, and commercial opportunity in a role that directly contributes to the university's diversification strategy.

The Team

The role is based within the Lifelong Learning Team within Diversification and Partnerships. The team provides management and operational support for our online and CPD portfolios across the university. This includes our suite of fully online master's degrees, our Health & Social Care CPD provision, and the two employer-led programmes this role would provide Project Delivery Management for.

Diversification and Partnerships focus on making meaningful connections with external partners, aligning initiatives with institutional priorities, and ensuring that growth is both sustainable and impactful. We shape strategic partnerships, develop new products and offerings, and work with a wide range of stakeholders from employers and education providers to funding and regulatory bodies. Our work ensures the University's external connections are ambitious, meaningful, and aligned with our institutional priorities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
