Project Delivery Surveyor
Rochdale
Positions Available:
- 1 x Permanent
- 1 x Fixed Term Contract until December 2026
RBH currently have an exciting opportunity for a Project Delivery Surveyor to join our Property Service department, within the Asset Team. As a project delivery surveyor, you will manage the successful delivery of major investment contracts from inception through to completion, supporting the delivery of our Investment Programme, including planned and cyclical maintenance works.
You will lead the procurement, appointment, and management of internal and external contractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

What are we looking for?

- Construction Related Degree or other recognised higher education qualification in Building and/or Construction (HNC/D) related subject with project management experience.
- Contract Management skills to ensure that contracts are delivered within the agreed timescales, budget, and quality standards – Knowledge of contractual obligations, i.e. JCT Intermediate contracts & procurement processes.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including contractors, consultants, architects, local authority representatives, councilors.
- Excellent financial and budget management skills to ensure that contracts are delivered on budget and value for money is achieved.
- Building surveying skills to identify building defects and appropriate remedial action in accordance with the relevant Building Standards and regulations; Recognising age (life cycles) condition of component parts; awareness around appropriate materials / specifications including sustainable alternatives.
- Awareness of H&S and CDM regulations to ensure that contractors are meeting their duties and responsibilities under CDM 2015 regulations.
- Knowledge and awareness of specialisms including electrical, mechanical, cyclical maintenance.
- Awareness and understanding of legal issues, i.e. leaseholder agreements.
