Project Designer
Project Designer Reporting to Head of Design

The Role We are seeking a talented and commercially aware Project Designer to join our team. This role is ideal for a creative individual with a strong technical foundation who can take ownership of projects from concept through to delivery. You will collaborate closely with clients, project managers, and contractors to translate workplace strategies into innovative, functional, and high-quality design solutions. The ideal candidate brings a balance of design flair, technical expertise, and a solid understanding of materials and construction methods.
Key Responsibilities: Support the development of innovative project pitches and design concepts. Prepare floor plans and elevations to clearly communicate design intent to clients and stakeholders. Assist in the production of detailed design packs, including finishes and specification documentation. Select and specify appropriate materials and finishes that align with the design concept and project requirements. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of interior design trends, materials, and emerging technologies. Work across multiple projects at varying stages, both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Support the delivery of design projects through coordination with technical teams, suppliers, and other consultants to ensure timely and accurate execution. Organise materials, prepare presentation boards, and curate sample packages for client presentations. Attend and contribute to client meetings, supporting senior team members with presentations and design discussions. Produce high-quality design drawings and documentation using industry-standard software, including Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe InDesign/Photoshop. Attend site as required to resolve design queries and respond to RFIs from the delivery team.

Skills and Experience: Architectural, Interior Design, or Interior Architecture degree/post-graduate level or equivalent industry experience. Excellent design and concept development skills focused on Design & Build workspace design. Proficiency in Revit (essential) and relevant industry software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe InDesign/Photoshop. Demonstrate a good understanding of workspace space planning. Strong conceptual design ability combined with technical delivery skills Excellent ability to coordinate efficiently on multiple simultaneous projects. Excellent time management skills and ability to work at pace. Excellent people and team working skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills Thorough knowledge of current FF&E trends and companies. Some knowledge of applicable building codes and regulations. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
