Project Director – Digital Agency
Location
Worthing, West Sussex (2 days per week in-office)

As our client base expands, we’re seeking a Project Director to join our dynamic Project Delivery team. You will be responsible for:
- Directing high-level digital projects
- Managing and coordinating client-led strategic initiatives to ensure quality deliverables
- Understanding the commercial context of client businesses to advise leadership
- Leading the project team from strategic planning to execution
- Working across multiple sectors and client levels, ensuring each day brings new challenges

Responsibilities
Your responsibilities include—but are not limited to:
- Project Oversight:
- Producing Statements of Work (SoW)
- Coordinating resources, tracking performance, and reporting on milestones
- Ensuring on-time, budget-conscious delivery
- Team & Stakeholder Management:
- Building and managing relationships with technicians, specialists, and clients
- Proactively delivering value-added insights at all touchpoints
- Communication & Facilitation:
- Leading client meetings, workshops, and presentations
- Resolving conflicts and negotiating contractually
- Performance & Measurement:
- Driving impact across recommended activities
- Measuring results to continually improve client outcomes

Requirements
To thrive as Fresh Egg’s Project Director, you should possess:
- Diverse digital expertise, with preferably agency experience, including:
- Web design & build, Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO), SEO, Content Marketing, UX Design, Data & Analytics
- Project Management skills track record (minimum 2+ years at senior/managerial level)
- Operations & Execution:
- Exceptional planning & organisation skills
- Ability to multi-task, pivot between projects, and manage stakeholders
- Soft Skills:
- Strong negotiation, problem-solving & conflict resolution capabilities
- Crystal-clear communication (written & verbal)
- Ability to build rapport with both clients and internal teams
- High-value cloud and facilitation skills
- Accountability & Quality:
- Fastidious detail orientation
- Inspirational leadership to motivate and collaborate effectively
- Ability to adjust to new challenges with speed and confidence
