Project Director
I'm working with one of the UK's leading main contractors to appoint an experienced Project Director to play a key role in the growth of their dedicated CAT B Fit-Out division based in Central London.
This isn't a start-up. It's a strategically backed business unit with significant investment from the executive leadership team, combining the security of an established contractor with the opportunity to build and shape a growing division.
Initially, you'll lead the delivery of CAT B fit-out packages across an existing portfolio of commercial projects, while helping establish and expand a specialist fit-out offering that is set for substantial growth over the coming years.

This role is perfect for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset who wants to influence the direction of a growing business. You'll have the opportunity to help shape the division, develop client relationships and deliver exceptional projects for some of the UK's leading commercial developers and asset owners.

You'll be working with prestigious clients including Landsec, The Crown Estate, British Land, GPE and Core, delivering high-quality CAT B fit-out projects typically valued at £20m+ across Central London.
With clear backing from the executive leadership team and CEO, this role offers genuine long-term career progression, with the opportunity to play a key role in the future leadership and development of the fit-out division.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the successful delivery of high-value CAT B fit-out projects across Central London.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key commercial clients.
- Drive programme, quality, safety and commercial performance.
- Work closely with pre-construction teams to secure future opportunities.
- Help shape the strategy and growth of the fit-out division.
- Deliver exceptional projects that generate repeat business and long-term client partnerships.

About You
- Proven experience delivering large-scale CAT B commercial fit-out projects.
- Currently operating as a Project Director looking for a clear path to Operations Director
- Strong client management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Commercially astute with excellent leadership capabilities.
- Entrepreneurial, ambitious and excited by the opportunity to build something for the future.
- Experience working for a leading main contractor or specialist fit-out contractor.
