Project Director

Project Director - FMCG

UK (Major Project Leadership Role)

£130,000 - £160,000 + Executive Package + Bonus + Car/Allowance + Private Medical + Pension + Long-Term Leadership Progression

A leading international technical construction contractor is seeking an established Project Director to lead the delivery of a major food manufacturing facility in the UK.

This is a senior leadership appointment for a proven Project Director who has successfully delivered full-scale food production, FMCG, or complex manufacturing facilities. You will take full ownership of a flagship project and play a key role in the continued expansion of a contractor delivering high-value industrial and process-led projects across the UK and Europe.

This opportunity will suit a Project Director currently operating within a Tier 1 contractor, specialist process contractor, or client-side manufacturing environment who is seeking greater ownership, long-term progression, and the opportunity to lead technically complex builds at scale. You will be responsible for full project lifecycle delivery, leading multidisciplinary construction and MEP teams while managing senior client stakeholders and ensuring programme, commercial and operational success.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
