About the Role

Joining the Programme Advisory team, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Support high-profile clients worldwide
  • Develop and refine your consulting and advisory skills

The Controls & Performance Programme Advisory team provides strategic advice on:

  • The setup and optimisation of controls & performance functions
  • Project/programme/portfolio management offices (PMOs)

The Opportunity

We’re seeking proactive individuals—passionate about driving impact—with expertise in Project Controls, Major Projects, and Programme Management. Your role will involve working closely with clients to transform missions and resolutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Client Environment Assessment:

    • Lead evaluations of client challenges and propose tailored solutions.
    • Ensure solutions are fit for purpose, enabling clients to achieve desired benefits and outcomes.
  • Analysis & Documentation:

    • Drive detailed analysis and structured recommendations across engagement stages.
    • Compile comprehensive findings and presentable reports in an understandable format.
  • Workshops & Facilitation:

    • Lead workshops via virtual and face-to-face formats.
    • Engage stakeholders effectively, capturing actionable insights.
  • Collaboration:

    • Work cross-functionally within multi-disciplinary teams at client sites and remotely.
    • Deploy best practices in methodologies, processes, tools, and systems, adapting them flexibly to project needs.

Experience Background

  • Industry Focus: Experienced in the Defence Sector (preferable).

  • Project Controls Expertise: 3–5 years’ experience required.

  • Advanced Education: Master’s degree or equivalent relevant experience desirable.

  • Major Projects/ Programme Management:

    • Hands-on experience managing capital projects/programmes aligned with infrastructure sectors such as:
      • Defence
      • Nuclear
      • Rail
      • Airports
      • Highways
      • Utilities
  • PMO and Controls Roles:

    • Experience in executing roles such as schedule planning, cost management, risk control, change management, and performance reporting in project/programme environments.
  • Capability & Maturity Assessments:

    • Familiarity with assessing PMO, controls & performance function maturity.
  • Process Integration & Digital Solutions:

    • Knowledge in developing integrated controls & performance processes to cultivate a single, consistent source of truth (e.g., decision-making frameworks powered by AI-driven data).
  • Impactful Reporting:

    • Proficient in writing and presenting reports.
    • Expertise in navigating complex stakeholder environments, including interacting with C-suite and executive teams.
