Project Engineer, Offshore Wind Transport & Installation

Location: United Kingdom (Remote/Hybrid depending on project)

The Green Recruitment Company is supporting a range of leading offshore wind developers, marine contractors, EPCs and installation specialists across the UK and Europe. We are looking to speak with experienced Project Engineers who have a background in offshore wind transport and installation and are interested in contract opportunities across upcoming projects.

Whether your experience is in turbine installation, foundations, heavy lift, marine operations or offshore logistics, we would be keen to hear from you.

Typical Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and execution of offshore transport and installation campaigns.
  • Develop engineering documentation, work packs, lift plans and installation procedures.
  • Coordinate with vessel crews, offshore teams, subcontractors and client representatives.
  • Assist with mobilisation and demobilisation activities.
  • Manage interfaces between engineering, marine operations, HSE and project management teams.
  • Review technical documentation, risk assessments and method statements.
  • Monitor project progress and resolve technical issues during execution.
  • Ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with project requirements.

  • EPC project delivery

Preferred Background

  • Degree qualified in Mechanical, Civil, Marine or Offshore Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience delivering offshore wind installation projects.
  • Strong understanding of offshore construction methodologies.
  • Experience working with developers, OEMs or major marine contractors.
  • Willingness to travel offshore or internationally where required.
