About The Role
The BMS Project Engineer at Johnson Controls plays a pivotal role in managing and executing complex building control system projects across the South West region. This position involves leading the design, installation, testing, and commissioning of advanced BMS solutions tailored to meet specific customer requirements. The successful candidate will oversee project site teams, ensuring that all phases of the project are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess proven experience managing complex BMS projects, demonstrating strong technical expertise and leadership capabilities. Hands-on experience with Building Management Systems, including installation, programming, and troubleshooting, is essential. A solid understanding of software development and testing for BMS solutions is required. Candidates should hold relevant certifications such as a valid CSCS site card and SSSTS certification. Excellent communication skills, organizational abilities, and the capacity to work independently in a fast-paced environment are critical. Willingness to travel within the South West region is also necessary to fulfill project requirements effectively.
Responsibilities
- Delivering successful execution of complex building control system projects.
- Developing, designing, and testing software programs to meet project specifications.
- Overseeing daily activities of the project site team.
- Planning efficient routes for ongoing tasks.
- Ensuring effective communication with customers to align project goals with expectations.
- Conducting comprehensive project assessments to identify potential issues.
- Maintaining detailed documentation throughout all project phases.
- Ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Coordinating with various stakeholders to facilitate smooth project delivery.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
