Mechanical / Electrical Project Engineer Hinkley Point C, Somerset | Hybrid Working £60,000 - £70,000 + £5,460 Car Allowance + Bonus + Excellent Benefits
We're working with a leading engineering services contractor delivering one of the UK's largest infrastructure projects.
Due to continued growth, they're looking to appoint both Mechanical and Electrical Project Engineers to join their expanding project delivery team.
This is an opportunity to work on major engineering packages from design through to commissioning, playing a key role in safely delivering complex Mechanical and Electrical installations on one of the UK's most significant construction projects.
The Role
You'll support the successful delivery of engineering packages by working closely with Project Managers, Construction teams, Designers, Commercial teams and clients throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities include:
- Managing Mechanical or Electrical work packages from pre-construction through to completion.
- Planning and coordinating engineering activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
- Supporting procurement, subcontractor management and material delivery.
- Reviewing technical documentation, drawings and specifications.
- Monitoring project progress, cost and programme performance.
- Managing technical queries and resolving engineering issues.
- Building strong relationships with clients, suppliers and internal project teams.
- Supporting commissioning, testing and project handover.

We're keen to hear from Mechanical and Electrical Project Engineers with experience delivering engineering or construction projects within sectors such as:

- Heavy Engineering

You'll ideally have:
- Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualifications.
- Experience delivering engineering projects in a regulated or complex environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Commercial awareness and experience managing project programmes.
- A proactive approach with the ability to coordinate multiple workstreams.
