Project Engineer (Automation / FANUC)

Are you a Project Engineer with industrial automation experience looking for a new and exciting role where you will play an integral part in the company's growth?

Are you looking for a role that will give you control of complex projects in Automation and Robotics for a company that will continually invest in you and your career?

On offer is a long-term role where you will be a fundamental asset to the business's growth. You will be responsible for the commercial, technical, and operational aspects of project delivery, being part of a cross-functional team to develop and deliver highly complex robot-based electromechanical systems for use in factory and process automation.

This company has been established for over 20 years and has a state-of-the-art modern facility. They are nationally recognised for the specialist work they do within the Aerospace, Automotive, Defence and Renewable Energy industries.

This role would suit a Project Engineer with experience in Automation, Electromechanical Design, Motion Control or similar who has a can-do attitude and is an active problem solver looking for a rewarding new opportunity to progress their career.

The Role:

  • Present Technology to the customer, suppliers and project partners, retaining a high level of professionalism at all times
  • Deliver projects on time, to budget, and at the right quality
  • Lead the project team to ensure tasks are completed effectively and efficiently, and within agreed timeframes
  • Prepare, maintain, and present project materials in accordance with the project management process

The Person:

  • Project Management Experience
  • Automation / Robotics Experience with knowledge of Pneumatic actuation and controls, Motor & drive mechanism selection, Electrical / Electronic control components
  • Degree in Engineering or equivalent
