About The Role
We are looking for an organised and proactive Electrical Project Engineer – Pre-Construction M&E to support the successful delivery of Temporary Site Services projects. Working closely with the Mobilisation Hub Partners, Pre-Construction team, Project Managers and Project Engineers, you will play a key role in project planning, programme management, stakeholder engagement, and pre-construction activities.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong project coordination skills and an electrical or construction background who is looking to develop their career within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
What you'll be doing
- Support the safe and efficient delivery of Temporary Site Services projects.
- Develop and maintain detailed programmes for planned works and future project pipeline activities.
- Work collaboratively with Project Managers, Project Engineers, and support functions to achieve project objectives.
- Support project planning, control, and delivery, ensuring projects are delivered within agreed cost, quality, and timescale parameters.
- Assist with commercial and business risk management.
- Build and maintain effective customer and stakeholder relationships.
- Support the implementation of the Gated Business Lifecycle process.
- Carry out site surveys to support accurate tender pricing.
- Contribute to tender submissions and pre-construction activities.
- Promote a positive safety culture and ensure compliance with CDM and Temporary Works regulations.
- Report accidents, near misses, and dangerous occurrences in accordance with company procedures.
Who we're looking for
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong organisational and planning skills.
- Experience supporting electrical, M&E, construction, or infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of Temporary Site Services delivery.
- Ability to develop and maintain project programmes.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Teams.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Commercial awareness and understanding of budgetary control.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver solutions to complex challenges.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage your own workload effectively.
