H9 Talent Solutions are recruiting on behalf of an established manufacturing business for a Project Engineer specialising in Controls & Instrumentation.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly respected engineering team delivering a range of capital and continuous improvement projects within a busy manufacturing environment. You'll be responsible for managing projects from concept through to completion, ensuring delivery against scope, budget and programme while working closely with engineering, operations and external contractors.

- Delivering engineering projects from design through to commissioning
- Managing project plans, budgets and resource allocation
- Supporting PLC, HMI, SCADA and instrumentation-related projects
- Coordinating internal stakeholders, contractors and suppliers
- Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget
- Producing technical documentation and project reports
- Carrying out site inspections and monitoring project progress
- Supporting procurement activities and equipment specification
- Identifying project risks and implementing mitigation plans
- Providing technical support and mentoring within the engineering team
About You
You'll ideally have:
- Degree qualified in an Engineering discipline
- Previous experience delivering engineering or capital projects within manufacturing
- Knowledge of PLCs, HMI, SCADA and industrial control systems
- Strong project management and organisational skills
- Experience managing contractors and ensuring safe delivery of projects
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Continuous Improvement or Operational Excellence experience would be advantageous
