Job Description

At IPS, we are global leaders in developing innovative solutions for the consulting, architecture, engineering, project controls, procurement, construction management, and CQV of technically complex facilities, primarily in the life sciences industry. We are looking for a talented Construction Project Engineer (Cost) to join our Project Delivery and Construction team out of our Blue Bell, Pennsylvania headquarters. Project Site: Marietta, PA (Full-time, on-site) This position is intended for candidates based in or near Blue Bell, PA, or Marietta, PA. Out-of-Town Living/Per diem is available for qualified Blue Bell–area candidates who are not local to the Marietta project site. In this role, you will provide technical, administrative, and subcontractor management support to Project Managers and Project Directors.

Additional Responsibilities Provide cost related support as part of the construction project team. Track project costs, invoice preparation, and reporting. Coordinate development and maintenance of execution plans, scopes, schedules, and budgets. Manage documentation, submittals, RFIs, and communication among project stakeholders. Support procurement, contract administration, and change management processes. Participate in safety planning and quality assurance, including shop drawing reviews and design compliance. Maintain project documentation systems and assist with closeout deliverables and turnover packages. Contribute to marketing materials, proposals, and ongoing team coordination across departments.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related discipline, or an equivalent technical degree. 1+ years of experience providing cost related support on a construction project team Physical Demands Must be able to stand, sit, and walk for prolonged periods. Must possess the ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl as required. Must be able to lift and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds. Must be able to climb ladders as necessary. Work Environment This position will have 25% travel, or as required by the assigned project. You may be assigned to a client site for an extended period. Overnight travel or staying in the city of the Client’s location is possible, depending on the assignment. Please review the IPS Travel Policy. You will visit construction sites and will be required to take site safety training and adhere to site safety rules. Must have access to reliable transportation. Must have the ability to travel and commute on a daily or routine basis. Must be able to work in both indoor and outdoor environments, which may include exposure to varying weather. Safety This position is a safety-sensitive position. The employee is designated for field work and attends activities at client sites where they work in construction, Process, packaging, manufacturing, research, or other "non-administrative" areas. IPS will not sponsor employment visas for this position All interviews are conducted either in person or virtually, with video required.
