Job Title: Project Engineer – E&I
Salary: £58,000
Location: Projects across the Scottish Borders, Cumbria, and West Yorkshire. Travel to sites is required.
Essential Skills
- CompEx 01–04 certification
- Time-served Electrician or Instrument/Electrical Technician, ideally EL6 certified or operating as an Authorised Person (AP)
- Proven experience delivering E&I projects from initial investment/FEED stage through detailed design support, construction, commissioning, and final handover
- Strong background working within the gas sector or on major infrastructure, utilities, or process industry projects
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
- Good understanding of electrical and instrumentation standards, health & safety requirements, and permit-to-work systems
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, site teams, and project managers
