Trailblaze IT have been providing IT services & cyber security solutions to SMBs & the education sector for over 11 years. We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join our friendly team.

Salary - £30,000 - £34,000 per year

Ferndown Office - Permanent Full-time/Part-time

Job Description

To provide an advanced level of expertise and knowledge particularly in relation to Server, Infrastructure, Network, Cloud technologies and Cyber Security. You will be responsible for designing, costing, and implementing new solutions and projects across a wide customer base and wide range of technologies.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Working alongside the sales team to provide technical solutions
  • Implementing projects for new and existing customers
  • Providing post-completion handover to the support team
  • Designing, costing, and implementing new solutions and projects across a wide customer base and wide range of technologies.
  • Assist with the development of the company by putting forward recommendations and suggestions to help improve services and processes for customers with the goal of making the company more successful or efficient in its operations.

What You Will Bring

  • Excellent client facing skills
  • Ability to present confidently to C-suite clients via Teams and in person

Your Technical Ability

Advanced Levels Of Experience In The Following Is Required

  • Microsoft Desktop Operating Systems
  • Mac Desktop Operating Systems
  • Server Operating Systems (Server 2012, Server 2016, Server 2019+)
  • Virtualisation (Hyper-V/VM-Ware)
  • Cloud Solutions (Office 365, Microsoft Azure, Google Workspace)
  • Office 365 Migration, Implementation and Security including other relevant products (Microsoft Defender, Azure AD Premium etc)
  • Azure Windows Virtual Desktop, Azure Virtual Machines, Azure WAN, Azure Backup & Recovery Services
  • Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, Certificates and Group Policy
  • Security (Firewalls, Encryption, MDM)
  • Networking (IP Subnetting, Routers, Switches, VLANs, Wireless)
