Project Engineer – Power Transmission & Distribution
About the Role

Join our Power Transmission and Distribution team as a Project Engineer with electrical engineering or cabling experience on our Operational Team at our site in Aberdeen.
In this role, you will formalise and specify a delivery solution, ensuring it’s communicated clearly and executed effectively by the working party.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Project Engineer, you will:
- Develop and deliver the engineered solution, then brief it effectively to the working party
- Ensure timely sustainable delivery within programme, budget, and quality standards
- Monitor and record works to guarantee compliance
- Foster a collaborative environment where the working party can thrive and succeed
- Manage, motivate, and develop a multi-skilled team of engineers, subcontractors, and contractors
- Take ownership of smaller projects or distinct sections of larger projects
- Set and achieve performance targets while maintaining safety and quality benchmarks
- Support procurement activities, including contractor selection
- Gain exposure to diverse, large-scale projects with quick career progression

You Will Have the Following
✅ Confirmed experience in delivering electrical engineering projects ✅ Proven track record in supporting large infrastructure projects within the industry ✅ Familiarity with Project Management methodologies ✅ Commercial awareness, alongside financial control and budget management ✅ Strong people and relationship management skills ✅ Valid UK driving licence (essential for site-based role)
