About The Role
We are recruiting a highly motivated and experienced Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer to join our fast-paced piling project team. In this role, you will oversee engineering compliance, quality assurance, and temporary works safety, ensuring smooth execution from concept through to completion. You will collaborate extensively with site teams, clients, and external stakeholders to deliver safe, efficient, and rigorous infrastructure solutions.

Technical Documentation & Compliance
- Develop, review, and update RAMS (Risk Assessment Method Statements), method statements, ITPs (Investigation & Testing Plans), and lift plans to guarantee safe and compliant operations.
- Maintain rig instrumentation records, production graphs, and as-built drawings for accurate project documentation.
- Coordinate with the Construction Supervisor to ensure smooth, planned, and compliant site activities.

Stakeholder Coordination
- Liaise with clients, designers, suppliers, and the commercial team to facilitate efficient project delivery.
- Support contract administration, including early warnings, variation orders, and compensation events.

Progress & Safety Management
- Attend weekly progress meetings and keep detailed daily records to track project performance and risks.
- Uphold health and safety regulations, fostering a culture of safety on-site.
- Identify and resolve technical issues promptly to minimise delays and cost overruns.

Team Leadership
- Lead and motivate project teams, ensuring technical excellence and compliance at every stage.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential
☑ Proven experience in piling and ground engineering, including Rotary Bored, CFA piling, and pile load testing. ☑ Strong technical back-ground in civil engineering, temporary works, and construction methodologies. ☑ Relevant engineering qualification: a degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent professional accreditation. ☑ Experience producing: RAMS, method statements, ITPs, and lift plans. ☑ Familiarity with rig instrumentation records, production reporting, and as-built drawings. ☑ Health and safety expertise: deep knowledge of construction safety regulations and best practices. ☑ Excellent communication skills – ability to engage effectively with clients, designers, suppliers, and teams. ☑ Project management proficiency: experience with technical documentation tools and software. ☑ Leadership capabilities: ability to mentor teams, drive compliance, and solve technical challenges.
