Project Manager (MEICA / Water)

£70,000-£80,000 + Progression + Hybrid Working + Car Allowance + Bonus + Company Benefits

Location: Chelmsford

Are you a Project Manager with experience delivering MEICA projects within the water industry, looking for a senior role where you can take ownership of multiple schemes across the Thames Water framework while helping shape the growth of a specialist engineering consultancy?

This growing consultancy is delivering a high volume of water and wastewater projects and is looking for an experienced project professional to oversee the successful delivery of MEICA schemes from inception through to completion. You will play a key role in managing client relationships, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

In this role, you will act as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and key stakeholders, overseeing project delivery across multiple live sites while supporting the continued growth and development of the business.

This role would suit a Project Manager with a strong background in water or wastewater projects who enjoys leading teams, managing stakeholders, and driving successful project outcomes within a collaborative and growing organisation.

The Role:

  • Lead the delivery of multiple MEICA water and wastewater projects simultaneously
  • Manage project programmes, budgets, resources, and stakeholder expectations
  • Coordinate design, construction, commissioning, and handover activities
  • Act as the key interface between clients, contractors, and internal delivery teams
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with contractual requirements

The Person:

  • Project Manager with experience delivering MEICA projects within the water industry
  • Strong stakeholder and client management skills
  • Experience managing project programmes, budgets, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Knowledge of water and wastewater infrastructure projects
  • Commutable to Chelmsford
