Project Engineer
Project/Program Manager IV
Location: London, UK (on-site, 75%–100% travel in UK/IE) Term: 29 June 2026 – 2 Oct 2026 | Hours: 40 per week
Scope
Serve as the primary on-site Point of Contact (POC) for the UK Field Engineering team during the deployment of engineering solutions across:
- Matrix systems
- ADTFs, ADTAs
- ASLs, Tippers
- Retrofits
- New greenfield logistics network launches for UK/IE clients
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Project Planning
- Plan and coordinate project timelines
- Verify project drawings on-site, identifying interferences with existing/new equipment
- Raise MCMs (Market Change Messages) for different project phases, addressing concerns from:
- Vendor teams
- Operations (Ops)
- WHS (Workplace Health & Safety)
- RME (Resource Management East)
- Escalate unresolved issues to the UK Field Engineering PM as needed

Project Execution

Kickoff & daily coordination:
- Set up and manage daily calls with vendors, operations, WHS, and RME
- Provide an end-of-day report to the UK Field Engineering PM (FE PM)

Site oversight & stakeholder engagement:
- Conduct on-site visits (frequency agreed with UK FE PM) to track project progress and gather customer/feedback
- Proactively resolve issues during visits; escalate to UK FE PM when necessary

Material management (AMZL ordered items):
- Ensure signage, racking, SBL arrive on-site, conduct inventory checks, and identify gaps
- Coordinate with Ops/RME for material transport and labour deployment
- Verify functionality and handle any arising issues

Collaboration with IT:
- Obtain IDF (Interconnecting Device Facility) keys and oversee data-cable terminations
- Validate cabling installation and performance with IT teams

- Site Acceptance Testing (SAT):
- Support UK FE PM during SAT—4–5 days of continuous on-site presence
Project Closure
- Documentation handover:
- Gather all vendor deliverables and validate against:
- Correct DS (Delivery Station) naming
- Signed declarations of conformity

- Archival and transfer:
- Upload all documents to designated systems (MyMHE+, automation storage drives)
Basic Qualifications
- Relevant work experience:
- Industrial, mechanical, or process engineering
- Project management of medium-to-high complexity projects
- Technical/proficiency skills:
- AutoCAD
- Microsoft Project
- Advanced Microsoft Excel (description and analysis)
Travel requirements noted: Must be prepared for 75%–100% site deployment during project execution in the UK/IE region.
