Has comprehensive knowledge of underlying principles, approaches, and methodology. The EPC Engineering Project Manager role is responsible for leading all engineering tasks related to delivery of a SPS project to client, within budget and on time. They must be focused on safety, quality, and compliance.

As a Project Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Overall engineering leadership on project
  • Responsible for the project technical relationship with the client.
  • Accountable for the detailed engineering integrated planning and execution to the plan.
  • Coordinate COE’s engineering activities to achieve overall budgeted hours for all packages.
  • Lead monthly scheduled reviews that track progress and spending by team.
  • Monitor, explain, and resolve any deviations from the early baseline on the S-curve for engineering.
  • Drive on-time delivery through regular meetings and detailed team engagement.
  • Issue and approve manpower needed to execute to the schedule and any additional scopes that enter the project

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Masters or bachelor’s degree in engineering or science-based discipline.
  • Previous experience in positions such as project engineering, system engineering, or project engineering management at product or system level.
  • Be able to create and lead multi-disciplined, geographically dispersed teams.
  • Be able to synthesize information, identify problems, establish facts, and deduce solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead programs/projects.
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
  • Established project management skills.
  • Be available to travel internationally for project needs and for short-term assignments.
