Join Isio’s Projects Team, a specialist team focused on delivering complex project work across our actuarial and administration business. This role will involve supporting the delivery of large-scale, data-intensive, and technically challenging projects in areas such as Benefit Rectification, Insurance Readiness, and GMP Equalisation.
This role can be based in any of our Isio offices in a hybrid workstyle. It is a national role, offering the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients and collaborate with colleagues across the business.
We are open to considering those looking for a permanent role, a fixed term contract, or if readily available, a shorter-term day rate contract.
What does the role entail?
Project Delivery & Support
Support the end-to-end delivery of large and complex actuarial and data projects. Take responsibility for key workstreams within projects, ensuring high-quality outputs and adherence to timelines. Contribute to project planning and help coordinate delivery team activities. Build effective working relationships with clients, acting as a day-to-day contact.
Technical Expertise & Problem Solving
Deliver solutions for complex and non-standard cases, escalating where appropriate. Apply technical knowledge to support decision-making and help guide more junior team members. Contribute to resolving data and actuarial challenges within projects.
Technical Development & Innovation
Support the development of solutions for niche and complex actuarial issues. Work closely with the technical team, initially with a strong focus on GMP Equalisation, with opportunities to broaden into other areas.
Collaboration & Team Contribution
Work across multiple offices and teams, building strong internal relationships. Support knowledge sharing and contribute to developing best practices within the Projects Team. Provide guidance and mentoring to junior team members where appropriate.

What we’re looking for?
Actuarial or pensions project experience, particularly in: GMP Equalisation Benefit Rectification Insurance Readiness or similar project work Experience contributing to large or complex projects, including ownership of workstreams. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle technical challenges. Good client-facing skills and ability to build effective stakeholder relationships. Strong communication and organisational skills. Experience working across multiple projects or clients is advantageous.
