Position Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Business Development & Capability team in Aftermarket Operations for a Business Project Lead. This role offers the opportunity to lead initiatives that improve operational performance, enable successful adoption of change, and strengthen business resilience. Working across Operations, Digital, and Functional teams, you will bring structure to complex challenges, align stakeholders, and turn ideas into results through effective project leadership.

You will lead business-led projects and workstreams across areas such as digital initiatives, operational improvement, business readiness, and continuity planning. Success in this role comes from coordinating people, plans, and decisions to ensure change is implemented and intended benefits are realized.

  • Lead the delivery of projects and workstreams to agreed objectives, timescales, and quality standards.
  • Act as the focal point for assigned initiatives and coordinate activities across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Provide clear reporting and information to support management decision-making.
  • Facilitate governance reviews, workshops, and stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Support business readiness, adoption, and implementation activities.
  • Drive actions through to completion and ensure agreed outcomes are achieved.

Position qualifications

We are looking for someone who enjoys solving business problems, working collaboratively across organizational boundaries, and taking ownership of delivering results. You will be organized, comfortable operating in ambiguity, and open to learning new business domains. You'll be trusted to lead, encouraged to develop, and supported by colleagues who are committed to helping one another succeed.

  • Experience leading projects or workstreams in a complex business environment.
  • Strong planning, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience managing risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.
  • Degree-level qualification or equivalent industry experience.

Preferred requirements:

  • APM, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management qualification.
  • Experience supporting business change, operational improvement, or digital initiatives.
