Role Description

The Project Management Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Liskeard, supporting project managers in the planning and delivery of construction projects. Daily responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating project documentation
  • Updating schedules
  • Tracking progress against milestones
  • Assisting with site-based and office-based administrative tasks

The Project Management Assistant will also support:

  • Risk and issue tracking
  • Continuous improvement of processes
  • Ensuring project information is accurate, accessible, and up to date

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal skills and interpersonal communication abilities to collaborate effectively with project teams, clients, and suppliers.
  • Effective communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication for reports, emails, and stakeholder updates.
  • Analytical skills to interpret project data, identify issues, and support informed decision-making.
  • Project coordination skills to manage schedules, track tasks, and support the organization of multiple concurrent activities.
  • Relevant experience in construction, engineering, or project administration is beneficial.
  • Proficiency with office software (e.g., spreadsheets, word processing, project tracking tools) is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage time and priorities in a fast-paced environment are important.
  • A relevant qualification in construction management, business administration, or a related field is an advantage but not mandatory.
