Project Management Assistant
About the Role
We’re looking for a dedicated Project Management Assistant to join our Development Team on a full-time, permanent basis in Swansea, South West Wales, with hybrid working in place.
This vacancy has arisen due to career progression within the business, offering a meaningful opportunity to support new home and refurbishment schemes across Wales while developing skills in housing development and project management.
You’ll be supporting the South West Wales projects, working collaboratively within an agile environment and playing a critical role in the entire scheme lifecycle—from construction to handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with Project Managers to coordinate delivery, manage information, and ensure a smooth customer journey from build through to handover
- Support the handover process, including:
- Recording, tracking, and resolving defects within agreed timescales
- Managing defect resolution systematically
- Maintain accurate project data, ensuring reporting and documentation remain current and organised
- Assist with scheme progress reporting and administrative duties
- Adaptability is key—assist with property operations across Central and East Wales as required
- Develop knowledge of housing development through hands-on experience
Essential Requirements
- Organisational skills: Ability to manage tasks under pressure and maintain detailed records
- Attention to detail: Spotting issues and resolving them efficiently
- Communication:():
- Comfortable interacting with customers, contractors, and internal/external teams
- Ability to clarify requests and communicate clearly regardless of audience
- Self-motivation: Proactive approach to supporting multiple tasks efficiently
- Proficiency in IT: Skilled in Microsoft Office and willing to learn new systems
- Mobility: Full driving licence and access to a vehicle required (NB: Mileage reimbursed at 55p per mile)
- Team player: Ability to collaborate, build relationships, and support colleagues effectively

Salary & Structure
- £31,364 per annum (full-time, 37 hours)
- Hybrid working: Office base in Swansea, with flexible, hybrid arrangements
Work Life Balance
- 26 days annual leave (pro-rata) (Increases to 31 days with progression)
- Bank holidays included
- Flexible hours: Option for a 9-day fortnight, Monday–Friday
