PMO Lead (12-Month FTC)

Location

Hybrid with 2 to 3 days per week on-site at various locations across the U.K.

Salary

£80,000 to £85,000 + Benefits

Please note: We will only consider candidates with proven experience delivering PMO leadership within M&A programmes.

The Opportunity

We're supporting a well-established organisation embarking on a significant M&A programme and are looking for an experienced PMO Lead to play a pivotal role in its successful delivery.

This is a fantastic opportunity to establish and shape a new PMO function for a critical transformation programme. You'll have the opportunity to build the PMO capability from the ground up, ensuring the organisation has the structure, controls, plans and reporting needed to successfully deliver a complex M&A programme.

You will be responsible for establishing governance, driving programme controls, managing risks and dependencies, and ensuring successful integration planning and delivery across multiple workstreams.

About You

We're looking for an experienced PMO professional who is comfortable operating within large, complex transformation programmes.

You'll ideally have:

  • Extensive experience establishing and leading PMO functions from the ground up within complex M&A programmes.
  • Strong governance, planning, reporting and programme controls expertise.
  • Experience working across multiple business workstreams and engaging senior stakeholders.
  • The confidence to challenge constructively and influence at executive level.

Experience within manufacturing, engineering, infrastructure or other operationally complex, multi-site organisations would be advantageous, although we're open to candidates from a range of sectors.

The Package

  • 12-month fixed-term contract.
  • Hybrid working (typically 2 to 3 days per week on site).
  • Competitive salary of £80,000 to £85,000 plus benefits.
