Project Manager
We are looking for a Project Manager to plan, execute and manage projects to meet management’s strategic objectives and ensure delivery is within budget and on time. The role will place strong emphasis on stakeholder management, change management and understanding the impact of change on users, customers and colleagues. Working closely with project sponsors, the postholder will help define and agree project scope, outcomes and success measures, while collaborating with the PMO and wider business to develop project management capability across Delta.
What you'll be doing
- Promote and support the full project lifecycle from business case to benefits realisation. Ensuring that projects are clearly communicated, understood and approved.
- Work with project sponsors and stakeholders to define and agree project scope, objectives, outcomes, delivery timelines, costs and success measures, translating these into effective, risk-controlled projects with clear ownership and governance.
- Ensure project requirements, stakeholder needs and user impacts are fully understood, prioritised and documented, with appropriate engagement and communication plans in place to support successful adoption of change.
- Lead effective stakeholder engagement and change management activity, ensuring users are involved appropriately, impacts are assessed and understood, and communications are tailored to support readiness, transition and adoption.
- Ensure project risks are fully understood in terms of the probability and impact and that there are clear and approved mitigation plans in place.

What we are looking for
- PRINCE 2 Practitioner qualification (or equivalent).
- Experience of managing project team members either directly or via networked matrix management approaches.
- Previous experience of administering multiple simultaneous projects is essential.
- Experience of assessing user impact, planning change activity and supporting teams through transition to ensure changes are understood, adopted and embedded.
- Ability to identify and manage dependencies between projects, programmes and wider business activity, ensuring delivery plans are aligned and impacts are clearly communicated.
- A proactive, methodical and analytical approach to problem solving, with good attention to detail.

Please note the office expectancy of this role is as follows: This role will require you in the office a minimum of 1 day a week this may be more as per business and project needs.

- 25 days annual leave per annum, plus bank holidays, 3 extra days between Christmas and New Year and 1 wellbeing day per annum.
- 37 hours per week - employees may be able to work flexibly by agreement with their line manager, taking account of business need. We operate a hybrid working policy at Delta Housing Ltd.
