Project Manager – Organisational Change
Location: West Midlands (Hybrid Working)
Contract: 2 Years
Salary: £57,186 - £60,912 (salary equivalent)
Hours: Full Time

Are you an experienced Project Manager with a passion for delivering complex organisational change?
We're looking for a highly capable Project Manager to lead the planning, delivery and successful implementation of a major transformation programme within a public sector environment. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in a high-profile change initiative, ensuring the successful transition of people, resources, systems and services while maintaining business continuity.
Working with senior leaders and a wide range of stakeholders, you'll oversee the full project lifecycle, driving delivery, managing risks and ensuring lasting organisational benefits.
The Role
You'll be responsible for leading complex change projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading the planning, governance and delivery of organisational change projects.
- Developing detailed project plans, milestones and delivery schedules.
- Managing project budgets, resources, risks and dependencies.
- Building strong relationships with senior stakeholders across multiple organisations.
- Monitoring project performance and providing regular progress reports.
- Supporting governance arrangements and ensuring compliance with project management best practice.
- Driving change adoption and embedding new ways of working.
- Ensuring benefits are realised and projects are successfully transitioned into business-as-usual.
- Capturing lessons learned to support continuous improvement.

About You
You'll be an experienced Project Manager with a proven track record of delivering complex organisational change programmes.
We're looking for someone who has:
- Experience managing large-scale organisational change or transformation projects.
- Strong knowledge of recognised project management methodologies such as PRINCE2 or equivalent.
- Experience managing multiple projects or workstreams simultaneously.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, including influencing senior leaders and executive teams.
- Strong planning, risk management and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- The ability to work strategically while maintaining a focus on successful operational delivery.
- Experience working within politically sensitive or complex governance environments.

A degree (or equivalent experience) is essential, and a recognised Project Management qualification such as PRINCE2 Practitioner is desirable.
