'm currently partnering with one of the UK's leading Tier 1 contractors to appoint an experienced Project Manager to join the delivery team on a major industrial and logistics development.
This is an outstanding opportunity to become the No. 2 on site, working alongside an experienced Project Director on a flagship scheme while taking ownership of key elements of project delivery. You'll join a market-leading contractor renowned for delivering complex, high-profile projects and offering genuine long-term career progression.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Project Director, you'll play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of a major industrial and logistics project, leading the day-to-day operational delivery across designated work packages while ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, programme and client satisfaction.
You'll work closely with the wider project team, design consultants, commercial teams and subcontractors to ensure the project is delivered safely, on programme and to budget.

We're looking for someone who can demonstrate:
- Proven experience with a Tier 1 or leading main contractor.
- Experience delivering large industrial, logistics, infrastructure or other technically complex construction projects.
- Strong site leadership skills with the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors.
- Experience managing Design Managers and working collaboratively with external design consultants.
- Practical BIM coordination and clash detection experience on complex projects.
- Strong understanding of project controls, planning and programme management.
- Experience administering or working under FIDIC Red Book contracts and coordinating with the Engineer.
- Delivery experience across major civils and substructure packages including retaining walls, bulk earthworks, remediation, piling, precast driven and CMC works.
- Knowledge of contaminated land remediation, verification and materials management.
- A proactive approach to health & safety, quality and operational excellence.
- The ambition to progress into senior project leadership roles.
