Project Manager – IT/Security

Location: Rockstar Games studio, Edinburgh, Scotland Type: Full-time, permanent, in-office


About the Role

At Rockstar Games, we develop groundbreaking entertainment experiences. We’re seeking a Project Manager who thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments and delivers high-impact execution across cross-functional initiatives.

This role sits within the PM / Production organisation, providing structured execution, clear communication, and cross-team coordination. Join us in Scotland’s cutting-edge game development hub, where talent receives mentorship and impact makes a difference.


What We Do

  • Partner with team leads, directors, and subject matter experts across IT and Security
  • Drive end-to-end project execution for both internal team projects and cross-departmental efforts
  • Ensure alignment and transparent communication across departments
  • Build collaborative processes that foster honesty, transparency, and frequent communication

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with leadership to define and refine project requirements
  • Oversee cross-departmental coordination throughout the entire project lifecycle
  • Proactively identify and manage risks via escalation and communication
  • Cultivate relationships with technical teams to accelerate project success

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field
  • 3+ years of project management experience, ideally in IT or Security
  • Strong grasp of IT/Security principles, technologies, and methodologies
  • Proven ability to plan, organise, prioritise, and execute tasks efficiently
  • Proficient in project management tools and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel), plus communication platforms
  • Leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with ability to thrive in dynamic environments
  • Self-driven, initiative-driven mindset with a sense of ownership
