About the Role

Project Manager (Fixed Term Contract – 18 months)

Join our team in this career-defining opportunity to lead a redevelopment of one of the most significant healthcare facilities in our portfolio.

Your role will be pivotal in shaping the future of specialist healthcare services, ensuring our landmark programme of investment delivers purpose-built environments that support exceptional patient care for years to come.

Location & Commitment

  • Primary Location: Buckinghamshire / Midlands, with national travel and regular on-site presence required
  • Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours/week)
  • Contract: Fixed-term (18 months, with potential for review)

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-end project delivery for healthcare build and mobilisation, including large-scale facility developments
  • Coordinating stakeholders (contractors, consultants, suppliers, internal teams) throughout project lifecycles
  • Planning, risk management, and timelines: Developing project plans, monitoring progress, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and health & safety standards
  • Leading transitions: Supporting installer, mobilisation, staff training, and operational readiness
  • Stakeholder engagement: Holding meetings, resolving conflicts, escalating risks, and driving solutions
  • Documentation & reporting: Maintaining project governance, records, and compliance reporting
  • Collaboration: Working with clinical, estates, and operational teams to align projects with business goals

Requirements & Skills

Essential

  • Proven experience delivering major build/refurbishment projects in healthcare, clinical, or regulated environments (hospitals, settlements, etc.)
  • Extensive experience leading large-scale capital developments from construction to operational handover
  • Strong track record managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders, contractors, and budgets (multi-million-pound scale)
  • Regulatory compliance: Knowledge of healthcare hygiene, safety, and operational standards
  • Problem-solving & adaptability: Ability to handle conflicting priorities and fast-paced dynamics
  • Communication & reporting: Skilled in meetings, documentation, and stakeholder coordination
  • Microsoft Office & project management tool proficiency (e.g., MS Project, Excel)
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally
